ClinicSonar is a free tool that checks a clinic website and sends you a short report. This page explains, in plain English, what we do with the little information you give us. The short version: we ask for the minimum, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted any time.
ClinicSonar is run by Ascendio (Luca Scorza), a marketing and SEO practice based in the United Kingdom. For anything on this page, or to ask us to delete your information, email hello@ascend-io-marketing.com. Ascendio is the data controller for the information described here.
When you run a scan, you type in four things: your clinic name, your website address, your town, and your main treatment. To produce your result we also read the public homepage at the website address you give us, and we send that address to Google PageSpeed Insights to check the site's speed and technical health.
When you ask for the full report and your three fixes, you give us your email address. That is the only contact detail we ask for. There is no account, no password, and we never ask for your phone number, home address, date of birth or any payment details.
We do not collect any information about your clients or patients. We only look at what is already public on the website address you enter.
Under UK data protection law we rely on your consent when you submit your email to receive the report, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving a free tool and offering a related service. You can withdraw either at any time by emailing us, and we will stop and delete your details.
We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to advertisers, ever. We use a small number of trusted providers only to make the tool work:
Each of these acts on our instructions only, and handles data to recognised standards.
Your submission is stored securely with Cloudflare. We keep it only as long as we need it to send your report and follow up, then we clear it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will, promptly. You never have to wait for us to get round to it.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to object to how we use it, or to have it ported elsewhere. Email hello@ascend-io-marketing.com and we will act on it. If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would always rather you told us first so we can put it right.
If we email you about a free audit or about ClinicSonar and you would rather we did not, reply with the word "unsubscribe" and that is the end of it.
ClinicSonar is a tool for clinic owners and businesses. It is not intended for use by anyone under 18.
If we change how the tool handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. This version is effective from 27 July 2026.
